Q & A's
Q: I have two different size feet and my right foot is bigger than my left- should I wear just one Toe Anchor and not two?
A: No, we advise you to trim down the Toe Anchor as much as you need to fit the bigger size foot; we recommend that you use both Toe Anchor in your shoes as to not cause an imbalance in your alignment between your right and left side.
Q: My pointe shoes are too snug to add the Toe Anchor. What should I do?
A: You may have to get re-fit with your Toe Anchor to make sure that your shoe can fit the toe aligner without it being too tight. Another suggestion is to switch to a thinner toe pad or even paper towel.
Q: The toe pads I wear have a thick silicone tip. Can I wear these toe pads with the Toe Anchor?
A: We recommend that you use toe pads that do not have thick extra silicone padding as this can make it hard to connect to the floor.
Q: My pointe shoe has a piece of foam glued into the tip of the shoe. Can I leave this in?
A: You may leave this in your pointe shoe. It's recommended to try it both ways to see what you prefer.
Q: I'm nervous to cut my Toe Anchor customize them, any suggestions?
A: Yes, just cut a smaller amount then what you think to start and then test it in your shoe. Repeat this process until it feels good to you.
Q: I don't wear toe pads: how can I make this work for me?
A: If you don't wear toe pads, the Toe Anchor may move around in your shoe. You can use tape to keep it in place instead of a toe pad, but a toe pad will secure it in place.
Q. I think my toe pads are not big enough to fit around the Toe Anchor what should I do?
A: You may need to purchase a larger toe pad then what you currently wear.
Q. My feet tend to change sizes, what do you recommend?
A. We recommend having two different Toe Anchors, one that is trimmed down more than the other to adjust to your feet changing sizes.
Q: How do I keep the Toe Anchor clean?
A: You can wash them after use with soap and water.
